About time the rich paid their fair share of taxes? Are you kidding or just don't understand the current tax code? The rich have always paid a significantly higher and dispproptionate amount of taxes that the average tax payer!!! Counting SS and state and federa taxes, many are already paying over 50
% (like the French) and the additional tax will make that about 56%. How about those who don't pay taxes (and voted for Obama) help out? Do you know that 65% of tax payers voted against Obama? He was lucky the loafers, lazy, those on welfare voted for him. They want more entitlement programs. Oh, by the way, over half of the doctors have said they will quit if medicine in socialized. It is the very worst form of health care in the world. The elderly won't be allowed to have procedures they can have now. I am a doctor, and I will quit. I am neither a criminal nor a coward and I have owned an assault type rifle for 17 years now. On top of that, I have no intention of selling it to a drug cartel! Where do you get off making such an asinine and moronic accusation? I served in the US military for six years, and during that time took an oath to defend the Constitution of this Land which includes the 2nd Amendment. That amendment was intended to allow the citizens of this country to defend themselves from a tyrannical government. Try doing that with a baseball bat.

I am neither a criminal or coward. I own a number of so called assault weapons. My family and I enjoy shooting at our local range with these guns. They are also used for home defense. Crime where I live has increased including the beating and robbery of my son just outside our home. I think you need to do some research before making so a general negative statment against gun owners.

It is very unfair for you to say she should "keep her daughter from becoming pregnant". I'm not sure how any parent is supposed to do that. Are you a parent? Are you going to follow your child everyday 24 hours a day? Because that is what it would take to keep your child from getting pregant. Children are going to do what they are going to do. The best thing parents can do is teach their children right from wrong and hope and pray that they make the right decisions. And besides that... I'm not sure how Palins daughter being pregant is in anyway a show of how she would be as VP of our Country.

We should vote based on the issues not based on if her 17 year old daughter is unmarried and pregnant. How many pregnant 17 year olds are there out there? Does any one of those other girls matter to you at all? Why should this one?

Our children will do what they are going to do... And no matter what we do we can try... but we can't make decisions for them... I know I didn't listen to everything my parents told me... And I'm sure you didn't either. But it didn't matter because your parents weren't running for VP of the US. Rather unfair.

Are you kidding? I think all parents guide and teach their children right from wrong and hope and pray for the best for them. But unless you are on every date with them or overseeing every situation, no parent can "keep their daughter from becoming pregnant." Unfortunately, kids don't always make the choices we want them to and the consequences are big. Did you always do everything your parents told you to do? To judge Gov. Palin's parenting skills based on this disclosure is unfair. We know too little about the situation the way they handle it is a private matter.
